"Those People"...by a guest writer

It hurts me when I hear from some people in the area around me (friends & family) that "those people" are a discrace, "those people" are bloking the roads, or "those people want Iran" or "those people" did .......

Just a reminder, "those people" represent the majority of the Bahraini people, the last statistic i had showed 86%, im sure its far less now, but still they are majority.
"those people" are the native Bahraini people, unlike me and you, they can trace their origins to the island of Bahrain, and not to Iran or Saudi like us.  "those people" work in McDonalds, Petrol Stations, Nass Contracting, etc...
"those people" go out to the sea to bring the fish you and I eat & grow the vegies you and I eat.
"those people" live on 200 dinars a month, and still donate to their holly religious purposes.
"those people" are "THE People" of Bahrain, if they want the right to defend themselves so be it.
It is a discrace on us to isolate our selves in the eliet coolies group, and say that we dont belong to them because they dress badly or the dont have etiquet or they talk funny or or or .......
At the end of the day the are humans, they have fathers and mothers and brother and sisters that are dear to them, so when your sister or your brother or your father or your son gets killed for whatever civil disobediance they have committed, its only normal that you will lose your mind and block a highway or take over an old forgotten roundabout.
if any of your family members gets slaughtered you will be angry and will react in a way much more hainace than going to your killer and giving them flowers.
so for "those people" who say (dont take my rights to democracy and give me a flower) I say go back to your LV bags and Dior watches and think, and keep thinking untill you see what your mind will tell you, untill you start building the courage to admit that what is happening out in our streets is wrong and that murder is happening in cold blood and that you have been too worried about your lisure status to admit it.
